Methodist Coffee with the Doctors looks at Skin Cancer ? CW Notes

Skin cancer is the most common of all cancers. It accounts for nearly half of all cancers in the United States. More than 2 million cases of basal and squamous cell skin cancer are found in this country each year. Melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer, will account for more than 75,000 cases of skin cancer in 2012.

Now you can hear about the latest in prevention along with the danger signs of skin cancer during a Methodist ?Coffee with the Doctor? series on Thursday, July 19th.

Methodist Medical Group physician, Dr. Lisa Clay will discuss the latest in prevention techniques and treatments. Dr. Clay of Methodist Medical Group at Canton is board certified in Family Medicine.

This free community program is scheduled for Thursday, July 19 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Methodist Medical Group at Canton, 2076 N. Main Street.
